Bretnwood is located at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, bounded by the San Diego Freeway on the east, Wilshire Boulevard on the south, the Santa Monica city limits on the southwest, the border of Topanga State Park on the west and Mulholland Drive along the ridgeline of the mountains on the north.

Brentwood has always been a marvelous residential neighborhood but it has also recently developed an extensive and very popular commercial district featuring fine shopping and restaurants. Homes in Brentwood range in price from roughly the $1,000,000 range up to the multi-million dollar range in the prestigious Brentwood Park neighborhood. The majority of homes in Brentwood however are currently selling from $1,800,000 to $8 million.
